MAKING MONEY ONLINE IS REAL

If you search for 'how to make money online' on Google, you will likely come up a million results, all of them selling the latest breakthrough in getting traffic and earnings. While some of them maybe selling genuinely useful stuff, truth remains that there is a simple formula to getting high ranks in the search engines. This formula is fairly simple, unlike what the experts might tell you with their "breakthrough" tactics. Let's take a look at the formula:

In-demand product + quality keyword research + strong keyword rich domain name + good content + backlinks = traffic = money.

There. All you need to make money on the internet is to promote a product that is in demand (this could be physical or digital), do your keyword research properly, get a strong, keyword rich domain name (preferably one that has been registered for a few years), put up some high quality content, build backlinks and presto! you will be making money in no time.

Finding in demand products is easy. Just look around the marketplace itself. If you are promoting Amazon products, for instance, check out their "BestSellers" page. For Clickbank, take a note of the gravity (60-120% is the best).

For keyword research, all you need to note is if the monthly search volume in Google is at least above 1000 (EXACT searches), and if the number of competing pages in Google is less than 500,000.

Getting a keyword rich domain is easy. Just enter a number of keyword combinations that you are targeting for. If the.com is available, take it. Otherwise, go with.org.

Writing good content is easy if you are writing about something you have some knowledge about. Otherwise, you could either hire a writer or do the research and writing yourself. This is a time consuming, but ultra-important step.

Building backlinks is probably the hardest, and the most misunderstood part. Tackling this subject is beyond the scope of this article. Nevertheless, classic backlinking techniques like article marketing, blog commenting (remember, don't spam!), useful forum posting (again, don't spam!), directory submissions, etc. never go out of fashion. The SEO experts might sell you some latest breakthrough product, but try giving the traditional methods a shot before you turn to them.
